Information on obedience training, flyball training, freestyle training and agility training

In my 20+ years of experience training people to train dogs, I have never been more excited about training than I am now. I incorporate the latest information about behavior modification into my training program and use positive, non-punitive methods for training dogs to live with their humans AND humans to live with their dogs. (Private lessons are also available to train animals other than dogs.)

Private Classes

On my first in-home visit I spend about an hour and a half teaching people “what makes dogs tick” and how to get them to do the things we want them to do (the basics of clicker training). While I do work with the dog on this visit, the primary focus is helping the owners learn to communicate with their pets in a positive, constructive way.

I actually give away most of the training secrets at that first visit and many clients have been able to use this information to train their dogs with no other additional lessons needed. My fee for this initial visit is $75.

For those clients that find it helpful to receive follow-up lessons I have instituted a new coaching plan. After an initial in-home visit. You can pre-purchase four, 30-minute coaching sessions for $100. These sessions are scheduled at a time and place that is mutually convenient for everyone.

There is no additional charge for travel within the SE Tulsa (east of the river, south of Admiral)/Bixby/Broken Arrow metro area. There is a .50 per mile charge for other locations.

The Buddy Plan

Training can be fun and less costly with a friend or a group of friends. With the Buddy Plan you can include up to 3 additional friends at your training session and reduce the cost for all involved.

For the initial 1.5 hour visit your costs with a Buddy are:

You + 1 = $130.00 (cost of $65.00 each)

You + 2 = $165.00 (cost of $55.00 each)

You + 3 = $180.00 (cost of $45.00 each)

For “Buddies for a Month” program (same buddies throughout the 4-week program, 1.5 hour initial class and three, 1/2-hour follow-up sessions)

You + 1 = $300.00 (cost of $150.00 each)

You + 2 = $400.00 (cost of $133.00 each)

You + 3 = $500.00 (cost of $125.00 each)

(Buddy for a Month is based on prepayment of entire fee at first class.)
